What is a "pacifist"?
A pacifist is against using war as a way of solving problems.
Examples:
1. Joe is a pacifist, so he doesn't want to join the military.
2. Switzerland is a pacifistic country; it has not been in a war since 1815.
3. Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi, and King all taught the benefits of pacifism.
